This collection contains six oral history interviews with Charles F. Hummel including transcripts, copy of an Idaho State Historical Society oral history with F. Hummel, original contract, proposals, schedules, releases, presentation with slides to City of Boise Historic Preservation Commission.

Abstract A conservation effort to preserve and protect the natural open space in the Boise Foothills by raising money through a two-year property tax known as the Foothills Serial Levy. The Levy was passed by 59% of Boise voters on May 22, 2001, raising $10 million for conservation efforts. The two-year levy in property taxes for commercial, residential, and industrial property was implemented in 2002 and 2003. Scope and Contents

The collection consists of correspondence, reports, studies, speeches, and memos related to Judge Mike Wetherell’s work as a member of the Boise City Council from 1986-2003, his work with non-profits including the Epilepsy Federation of America from 1981-1996, Idaho Epilepsy League from 1977-1983, and Friends of Capital City from 1985-1988. Also included in the collection are legal publications written by Judge Wetherell for the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association from 1989-2000.

Scope and Contents

This collection documents the historic preservation and restoration activities on the Boise Depot by the Morrison Knudsen Company from 1991-1993. Also included in the collection are research material used to inform the planning and design of the restoration, and admission receipts from the first year of operation after reopening.
